Fortnite Weapon Tier List – Chapter 4 Season 1 best weapons ranked

The ultimate Fortnite weapons tier-list for Chapter 4 Season 1 is here.

Fortnite’s got some crazy skins, storylines and items, and let’s not forget the massive amount of weapons on offer for you. Not all loot in Fortnite is equal however, and unlike Warzone 2 where you can order in Loadouts, Fortnite requires you to choose from the weapons in-game. So, let’s make a weapon tier list for Chapter 4 Season 1 to see what’s worth picking up and what’s not.

Chapter 4 Season 1 of Epic Games’ hit battle royale added plenty of change to the Island. Changes in the map, but also the loot pool, with lots of new and unvaulted weapons available to add to your loadout.

Our favourite has to be the DMR, with a decent sized mag, good fire-rate, damage output and long distance capabilities. Lot’s has changed in this season, so let’s smooth things over with a weapon tier list.

Be wary, though: Heavily looted places means more enemy players, so try and think before landing at a place like these.

Last Updated: July 26th, 2023

League of Legends is one of the most popular games on the planet for a few reasons, with its various game modes and competitive experiences. After a hard day in solo queue or more casual gameplay, the ARAM game mode is an excellent addition. With that said, here is a rundown on an ARAM Tier List to make it easier to know which Champions are good and bad in the one-lane game.

Tier Rankings Explained

S Tier – The best of the best on the game mode

A Tier – Generally quite strong and can do well, may need an extra piece or some conditions to meet before work properly.

B Tier – Clear Strengths on ARAM, with a few more notable weaknesses.

C Tier – Generally weak for ARAM. Only pick these if there are no other better options available.

D Tier – Champions that flat out don’t work in ARAM for whatever reason.

Champions Ranked

S Tier: Alistar, Brand, Cho’gath, Hecarim, Jhin, Kai’Sa, Kennen, Leona, Lulu, Maokai, Miss Fortune, Ornn, Pyke, Rammus, Senna, Seraphine, Tristana, Veigar, Vel’Koz, Xerath, Yuumi, Ziggs.

A Tier: Ahri, Akali, Amumu, Anivia, Annie, Ashe, Blitzcrank, Caitlyn, Diana, Dr. Mundo, Ezreal, Fiddlesticks, Gangplank, Gnar, Gagas, Heimerdinger, Illaoi, Jarvan IV, Jayce, Jinx, Kalista, Karma, Kayle, Kog’Maw, Lissandra, Lucian, Lux, Malphite, Malzahar, Nautilus, Neeko, Orianna, Qiyanah, Rakan, Rel, Rumble, Ryze, Samira, Sejuani, Shen, Sion, Sivir, Skarner, Soraka, Syndra, Taric, Thresh, Twisted Fate, Twitch, Urgot, Viktor, Volibear, Zac, Zilean, Zoe, Zyra.

B Tier: Aatrox, Aphelios, Azir, Bard, Camille, Cassio[eia, Draven, Fizz, Ekko, Elise, Galio, Graves, Irelia, Janna, Kassadin, Kindred, Kled, LeBlanc, Lee Sin, Lillia, Mordekaisser, Morgana, Nami, Nausu, Nidalee, Nocturne, Nunu, Okaf, Pantheon, Poppy, Quinn, Renekton, Riven, Shyvana, Sett, Singed, Sona, Swain, Sylas, Tahm Kench, Taliyah, Teemo, Vayne, Vi, Viego, Vladimir, Warwick, ukong, Xayah, Xin Zhao, Yasuo, Zed.

C Tier: Aurelion Sol, Braum, Corki, Darius, Evelynn, Fiora, Garen, Katarina, Kayn, Kha’Zix, Master Yi, Rek’Sai, Rengar, Shaco, Trundle, Udyr, Yone.

D Tier: Ivern, Jax, Talon, Tryndamere, Yorick.

S Tier 11.11

Vel’Koz is one of the strongest poke mages on the ARAM mode. Image via Riot Games.

Due to the power of AOE CC some tanks have, Mao’Kai, Hecarim, and Ornn are incredibly strong. The likes of Mao’kai and Ornn have ults that can almost guarantee hit everyone considering the lane’s size. Furthermore, Ornn can buy items in the lane, making him break one of the game’s fundamental rules. Hecarim joins this list with his incredible dive potential threats and put them in awkward positions. There are no safe points for the backline other than how far they are from the frontline making Hecarim a dangerous threat. With the recent  LoL 11.8 patch, Rammus has a dive ability with his ult, making him a great dive ultimate, with an aoe slow on an area that greatly impacts with the width of the only lane.

The Mages 11.11

As you can see, there are several burst AP Mages on this list. The AP bust mages that can poke at incredible ranges are extremely strong on the ARAM mode. This is even past the 15% reduction to abilities hit from 1000 units away. Ziggs, Vel’Koz, and Xerath are the prime examples of the abusers.

Karthus is a wild card on this list because he tends to scale later into ARAM. Karthus builds that grant a lot of ability haste allow him to semi-frequently press his ultimate at level 16. Combine this with the amount of AP he will generate means that he will chunk squishies for half their hp on cooldown with no real way to regenerate either hp outside of base regen or potential life steal and spell vamp.

Teamfight based Mages are also solid on this ARAM Tier List. Veigar has the potential to scale indefinitely, with him having a great single target burst and pick setup with his cage on a thin lane. Kennen is another amazing team fight mage, with the Summoner Spell, Snowball allowing him to easily land on multiple targets with his ultimate to create team fights.

The Botlaners 11.11

The best ADCS on this list are Jhin, Kai’sa, Miss Fortune, Senna, and Tristana. Kai’sa is one of the best champions in the game right now anyway, and her strength on ARAM is still there. The added benefit for ARAM is she can go a full AP build if the team lacks ap, and do huge chunks of damage every few seconds if she lands a W – basically a better Nidalee. On the other hand, Jhin scales incredibly well with attack damage and can chunk down everyone with his fourth shot. Both Tristana and Miss Fortune are best team fighters, with quick movements speed, powerful team fight based ultimates. Finally, Senna has the potential to scale infinitely by collecting souls. It is not unusual to see Senna start auto-attacking towers from outside their range in longer game ARAMs.

Lulu, Seraphine, and Yuumi are the S Tier Enchanters due to the strength of their utility for team fighting. Lulu’s ult is great for those insane team fights that you have no chance of escaping from. On the other hand, Yuumi’s and Serpahine’ ult are kind of like Mao’kai’s and Ornn’s with some huge CC the lane’s size. Plus, the added sustain even through the healing reduction built into ARAM is still rather strong.

The oddball on the list is Pyke. Pyke is one of the best ARAM Champions in the game. His ability to great picks with his ultimate and the lethality Pyke build causes lots of damage on squishies. Following this up with his ultimate resets on kill, it becomes too easy for an ARAM Pyke to get a Penta Kill.

C and D Tier

You may ask why we are jumping from the S Tier to the C and D Tier? Well, that is largely due to the A and B Tier being relatively decent. Some Champions have a few weaknesses they can over, come,  like Kayle and Kog’Maw. There are fine Champions that help round out comps in the ARAM Tier List B Tier, like Kled. Going into detail in these sections is not entirely needed considering the number of champions and situations they are helpful.

However, the C Tier and D Tier need some explaining to understand how bad they are D Tier Champions because their kit is straight-up bad, or their role in the game doesn’t work in ARAM. As you can see, the typical fighting split pushers that rely on being up close and personal fail here. Jax and Tryndamere will straight up lose and feed due to getting poked out early. Even then, the champions are split pushers, and you, by default, cant split in ARAM. Yorick is a bit more salvageable because he has some ok CC, but it’s still nothing to shout about.

Consequently, Talon and Kayne are low on the list because of the interactions with the map. Talon has an ability that allows him to jump over walls, which is made irrelevant in ARAM. Kayne’s wall interactions are a little better, but he falls in the same spot as a jungle melee that needs to hit people to get his passive built. Unfortunately, he can’t really get a form without running it down in the early game.

In most cases, the rest of the C and D Tier Champions are either Junglers, with no real way to gank, or Top Laners with terrible gap closing on ARAM. Most of these are a little better in Season 11, with Mythics like Stridebreaker and Snowball combining to give them some extra room to be playable. However, they still pale in comparison to everything else.

FAQs

What is ARAM?

The aim of the ARAM game mode (All Random All Mid) is to take down the enemy nexus, just like in Summoner’s Rift. However, the twist is that there is only one lane, and the champions you get are completely random, with a reroll pool, and a maximum of two rerolls depending on your reroll generation.

Based on the champion you get, you have to make a decent team comp or pick the most fun and crazy playstyles. From there, it’s about messing around, having some fun, doing some crazy plays, and ultimately aiming to win the game in a light-hearted manner.

All of this is relevant as this feeds directly into the ARAM Tier List. The unique rules of ARAM help to generate gold faster, which means you can’t buy or heal up from the Spawn Fountain unless you have died and respawned. Furthermore, Riot creates ARAM specific buffs and nerfs for almost every champion, with changes coming in every patch. For this reason, this LoL tier list is going to look a little different from our other LoL Tier List.

With all that said, I hope you enjoyed looking at our thoughts on the best ARAM Champions, and the worst… May the ARAM elo be with you.

Iphone Xs Camera Ranked #2 By Dxomark: ‘One Of The Best Mobile Cameras’

DxOMark is out with its full review of the iPhone XS camera system. Coming in with a score of 105, the latest flagship iPhone beat out the camera performance of all other smartphones except for Huawei’s P20 Pro with its triple-camera setup. Read on for all the details.

DxOMark evaluates cameras based on a combined score of photo and video performance. The total score is not out of 100. With that it mind, the iPhone XS Max that DxO tested scored notably higher at 105 than the iPhone X, which earned 97 last year. The company notes that it only tested the XS Max, but more or less expects the XS to perform the same, since they have the same camera systems.

DxO notes that while the few hardware upgrades to the XS camera system are valuable, the software changes are more noticeable.

On the software and image processing side of things, the improvements are more obvious. During still image capture, the camera continuously captures a multi-frame buffer at different exposures, allowing for simultaneous zero shutter lag and HDR processing, something that is unique to the new iPhone at this point.

Still photos

For the photo portion, DxO called out that the iPhone XS Max could have better zoom performance, but it still scored an impressive scored 110.

Overall, however, still image quality is very good, and the iPhone XS Max achieves an excellent Photo score of 110 points. In addition to capturing great image quality in bright light, the iPhone XS Max camera is also very reliable, consistently capturing good results shot after shot. The autofocus system is among the best we have tested, and images recorded in Apple’s Portrait mode show very good subject isolation.

Video performance

For the video portion of the testing, iPhone XS Max scored 96 with indoor white balance instabilities being one of its weaknesses. Great video performance in bright conditions was one of its key strengths.

The Apple iPhone XS Max achieves an excellent Video score of 96 points, thanks to an outstanding performance in bright light conditions. The overall score is derived from a number of sub-scores in the same way as the Photo score: Exposure (88), Color (88), Autofocus (91), Texture (58), Noise (75), Artifacts (84), and Stabilization (94).

While this doesn’t factor into its scoring system, DxO notes how the sensor readout is better on iPhone XS than compared to other smartphones.

thanks to improved sensor readout speed, the rolling-shutter effect that can occur when panning is much less intrusive than for some rivals — for example, the Google Pixel 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. You can see that vertical lines are much more “leaning” on the latter two devices in the sample clips below.

For a complete looks at how the XS camera system performed and more side by side comparisons with other top smartphones, read the full DxOMark review here.

Aws Free Tier And Aws Free Services

Organizations choose to use public cloud computing services for a variety of reasons such as greater agility, scalability and higher availability. For some, cost savings is also a driver. In fact, according to the RightScale 2024 State of the Cloud Survey, 37 percent of businesses hope to reduce their costs by moving to the cloud.

Protecting your company’s data is critical. Cloud storage with automated backup is scalable, flexible and provides peace of mind. Cobalt Iron’s enterprise-grade backup and recovery solution is known for its hands-free automation and reliability, at a lower cost. Cloud backup that just works.

SCHEDULE FREE CONSULT/DEMO

However, companies don’t always realize the savings they hope to achieve. When the RightScale survey asked people about the top challenges of the cloud, “managing costs” came in fourth, cited by 26 percent of respondents.

One of the reasons why it so difficult to control cloud costs is that the pricing structures can be incredibly complicated. In fact, Amazon Web Services (AWS), the undisputed cloud computing market leader, has a huge section of its website dedicated to explaining its extremely complex pricing.

In order to participate in the program, you must be a new customer. Some of the free services are available only for the first twelve months, while others don’t expire. You can’t carry over any unused minutes from one month to the next, and you have to provide a valid credit card number to participate. The full terms and conditions, as well as other AWS pricing information, are on the AWS website.

One other note: startups interested in getting AWS services for free may also want to check out the AWS Activate program. It offers AWS pricing credits, support credits, training and other resources for qualified startups.

So what can users get for free? The following services are available free for the first twelve months that you are an AWS customer:

Elastic Cloud Compute, or EC2, is probably AWS’s best-known cloud computing service. It offers scalable compute capacity for a variety of purposes. Under the AWS pricing structure, Free Tier users can get 750 hours of t2.micro instances running Linux or Windows. The t2.micro instances have just one virtual CPU and 1 GiB of memory. The 750-hour limit will allow users to run one instance 24 x 7 for an entire month, or they can choose to spread it across multiple instances, for example, by running two instances for a half a month each.

For organizations that are running multiple instances, AWS also offers a Free Tier for its Elastic Load Balancing service. It includes 750 hours of service per month, with 15 GB of data processing for Classic load balancers and 15 LCUs for Application load balancers.

Companies that are using containers might also want to check into the EC2 Container Registry. The Free Tier comes with 500 MB of storage.

Often used alongside EC2, Amazon Simple Storage Service, or S3, provides cloud-based object storage. New customers can get 5 GB of storage for free for the first year, with a limit of 20,000 get requests and 20,000 put requests.

For files storage, Amazon offers Elastic File System, or EFS. Like S3, it comes with 5 GB of storage free for the first 12 months.

Amazon’s Elastic Block Storage, or EBS, comes with quite a bit more free storage: 30 GB. However, it is limited to 1 GB of snapshot storage and 2 million I/Os if you are using EBS magnetic storage.

Along with its free storage services, AWS also gives Web content providers a service for distributing media to users. Its CloudFront service transfers up to 50 GB of data for free with 2 million HTTP or HTTPS requests.

Amazon Relational Database Service, or RDS, offers six different options for SQL-based database engines: Amazon Aurora, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL and MariaDB. Similar to EC2, the AWS pricing schedule for RDS offers 750 free hours of db.t2.micro Instances per month for the first twelve months. It also includes 20 GB of database storage (SSD or magnetic), 20 GB for backups on magnetic storage and up to 10 million I/Os.

Organizations that are interested in the superfast performance of in-memory databases might want to check out ElastiCache. Users can choose from the Redis or Memcached technology. The Free Tier includes 750 Hours of cache.t2micro Node usage per month, which includes 1 virtual CPU and 0.555 GiB memory.

For enterprises that need data warehousing capabilities, Amazon offers Redshift. Note that while most Free Tier offers include 12 months of service, Redshift only offers free service for 2 months. During that time, users get 750 hours of a dc1.large dense compute instance, which includes 2 virtual CPUs, 15 GiB memory, 0.16TB of SSD storage.

The AWS Free Tier also includes twelve months’ worth or access to a variety of other less-well-known cloud services, including the following:

Data Pipeline (cloud orchestration) —3 low-frequency preconditions and 5 low-frequency activities for free

Elasticsearch Service (analytics search) — 750 hours of one AZ t2.micro.elasticsearch instance with 10 GB of EBS storage per month

Cognito (mobile identity and sync) — 50,000 monthly active users, plus 10 GB of cloud sync and 1 million sync operations per month

API Gateway (API publishing) — 1 million API calls per month

IoT (Internet of Things) — 250,000 messages per month

Trusted Advisor (cloud optimization) —4 best-practice checks, plus notifications and customization

AppStream (application streaming) — 20 hours per month

Elastic Transcoder (media transcoding) — 20 minutes of audio transcoding, 20 minutes of SD transcoding and 10 minutes of HD transcoding per month

The Free Tier also includes several offers that don’t expire after twelve months. Many of these tools are of particular interest to Web and mobile developers. They include the following:

AWS Lambda is a unique service that allows users to run code automatically when triggered by another cloud service or by a Web or mobile app. Users who are enrolled in the Free Tier get up to 1 million free requests and up to 3.2 million seconds of compute time per month.

AWS’s NoSQL database option is called DynamoDB, and according to the company, “Its flexible data model and reliable performance make it a great fit for mobile, web, gaming, ad tech, IoT, and many other applications.” For free, users can get enough resources to handle 200 million requests per month, including 25 GB of storage, 25 units of write capacity and 25 units of read capacity.

To assist with mobile development, the AWS pricing schedule includes free access to several services. For example, developers can get a one-time trial of 250 minutes on Device Farm, a service that simplifies the testing of mobile apps on a variety of devices. In addition, the AWS Mobile Analytics service offers 100 million free events per month, and the SNSpush notification service offers 1 million publishes, 1 million mobile push deliveries, 100,000 HTTP or HTTPS deliveries and 1,000 email deliveries per month. And again, these free offers continue past the initial 12-month period.

Other developer tools that are part of the Free Tier program include CodeCommit, Amazon’s source control service, which is free for 5 active users and 50 GB of storage with up to 10,000 Git requests per month. And CodePipeline, the AWS continuous delivery service, offers 1 active pipeline for free every month.

Other services that are free indefinitely on AWS include the following:

Key Management Service (encryption key management)— 20,000 free requests per month

CloudWatch (cloud monitoring) — 10 custom metrics, 10 alarms, 1 million API requests, 5 GB of log data ingestion, 5 GB of log data archive, and 3 dashboards with up to 50 metrics each.

SES (email) — 62,000 outbound messages and 1,000 inbound messages per month

SQS (message storing queue)— 1 million requests

SWF(simple workflow service) — 10,000 activity tasks, 30,000 workflow-days and 1,000 initiated executions

Ever come back home all tired and sweaty, carrying 5 bags of groceries, only to realize that you forgot to pick something up? We all have been in this situation at least once. Not anymore! You can now write down the groceries you need to pick up and have it all on your Apple Watch. We have scoured the App Store for some of the best grocery list apps for your Apple Watch. Since the shopping apps can be accessed on your Apple Watch, it becomes easy for users to check the list by raising their wrists.

1. Our Groceries Shopping List

OurGroceries is an awesome app for writing down your groceries, available for both the iPhone and Apple Watch. The app is filled with useful features that will certainly come in handy, such as the ability to share grocery lists with others in your family through email or texts, the ability to add links to anything inside your list, and simply adding ingredients through a recipe.

You can create multiple lists at the same time, and cross off items as you go through the list. Adding items to lists is as easy as dictating it to the watch, or you can scribble the letters on the screen.

Download

2. chúng tôi To do list & Calendar

Any.do is one of the best grocery list apps that you can pick up for the Apple Watch. It is incredibly easy to include items, either through voice or typing. You can also share lists and get related recommendations.

The app can also auto-sort your items in lists by aisles, which makes picking up items much, much easier. You can also set up reminders that trigger when you leave work, which is super convenient. Crossing off lists keeps the items there until deleted, which is incredibly helpful.

Download

3. Grocery List with Sync

Another great grocery list app that you can pick up is Grocery List with Sync, or as it is known on the Apple Watch, “Buy Me a Pie!”. You get some handy suggestions and recommendations while writing out lists, which you can just tap on to add. This feature makes writing grocery lists a breeze.

Download

4. Bring! Shopping List & Recipes

Bring! is another great app for writing down your shopping lists quickly and easily. Just like OurGroceries, you can add items by simply dictating or scribbling on the screen. You can make a number of lists at once, and quickly add items from the catalog, making list creating much, much easier.

You can strike off items as you get through the list, and you can let others know through Force Touch that you are either going shopping or are done with it. It also comes with some helpful templates for different kinds of lists, such as for home or work.

You can also use it in conjunction with Alexa or Siri to add items to lists while you are away doing something else. All of this is completely free, with no hidden fees or anything.

Download

5. Grocery – Smart Shopping List

Grocery stands out from the crowd, not because of a flashy UI or anything like that, but rather its namesake “Smart Sorting” ability and works pretty much the same way as other grocery apps, in that you can create multiple lists of items, cross them off when you pick them up, and adding items is as simple as either typing or through Siri.

As mentioned before, the defining feature of the app is its “Smart Sorting” ability. If you go to the same store and have an order in which you go through the aisles, Grocery will learn your shopping patterns, and arrange your items in the order you go through the aisles, which makes it incredibly easy to shop, as you don’t have to keep squinting at your watch and scroll to find the items on the tiny screen.

Download

That’s all folks!

Conclusion
