Patch 10.1 of the critically acclaimed MOBA League of Legends has hit live, kick-starting the 2023 season of this E-sports giant.

While it does bring plenty of changes, it comes with its own fair share of issues. Since the patch is quite a large one, it goes without saying that a lot of new content has been added as well, creating an ideal scenario for bugs to appear.

That is why we’ve compiled a list of what we think are the most common and serious bugs currently found in League of Legends patch 10.1.

Common bugs and issues in League of Legends patch 10.1 1. Users can’t see their friend list

It would seem that the game’s UI is bugged, and users cannot see any of the information that would usually be found on the right side of the menu.

It would seem that in order for users to encounter this bug, they would have to swap between EUW to EUNE servers during the patching process.

Unfortunately, repairing the client doesn’t work.

Thus, it would be a good idea to wait until the patch is complete before attempting to change the server. Additionally, it seems that if you just play a match, the client will go back to normal on itself.

2. Players cannot pick their Rune pages

Apparently, many players cannot access their created rune pages, and their default rune pages were changed as well.

Unfortunately, no one knows what triggers this bug, nor if there is any known solution to it.

3. Players receive a “password required” message after matches

Apparently, some users receive a message that states the following

A password is required to enter this room” dialogue box appears after every game.

Normally, this would be the message users would receive when trying to join a custom match to which the owner has assigned a password.

4. Users are experiencing packet losses

In general terms, packet losses occur when one or more packets of data traveling across a computer network fail to reach their destination.

In League of Legends, packet losses may lead to NPCs and enemy champions appearing to phase in and out from on destination, as if teleporting.

Unfortunately, there is no current fix for this issue. However, check that your Internet connection is working appropriately may fix this.

5. In-game chat is bugged

Users have reported that in-game, other player’s names appear as random numbers and letters. This makes it extremely difficult to communicate in-game.

Unfortunately, no one knows what causes this, or how to fix it.

While a lot of them are indeed game-breakers, Riot always manages to deliver on their end when it comes to fixing them.

League of Legends is one of the most popular games on the planet for a few reasons, with its various game modes and competitive experiences. After a hard day in solo queue or more casual gameplay, the ARAM game mode is an excellent addition. With that said, here is a rundown on an ARAM Tier List to make it easier to know which Champions are good and bad in the one-lane game.

Tier Rankings Explained

S Tier – The best of the best on the game mode

A Tier – Generally quite strong and can do well, may need an extra piece or some conditions to meet before work properly.

B Tier – Clear Strengths on ARAM, with a few more notable weaknesses.

C Tier – Generally weak for ARAM. Only pick these if there are no other better options available.

D Tier – Champions that flat out don’t work in ARAM for whatever reason.

Due to the power of AOE CC some tanks have, Mao’Kai, Hecarim, and Ornn are incredibly strong. The likes of Mao’kai and Ornn have ults that can almost guarantee hit everyone considering the lane’s size. Furthermore, Ornn can buy items in the lane, making him break one of the game’s fundamental rules. Hecarim joins this list with his incredible dive potential threats and put them in awkward positions. There are no safe points for the backline other than how far they are from the frontline making Hecarim a dangerous threat. With the recent  LoL 11.8 patch, Rammus has a dive ability with his ult, making him a great dive ultimate, with an aoe slow on an area that greatly impacts with the width of the only lane.  

The Mages 11.11

As you can see, there are several burst AP Mages on this list. The AP bust mages that can poke at incredible ranges are extremely strong on the ARAM mode. This is even past the 15% reduction to abilities hit from 1000 units away. Ziggs, Vel’Koz, and Xerath are the prime examples of the abusers. 

Karthus is a wild card on this list because he tends to scale later into ARAM. Karthus builds that grant a lot of ability haste allow him to semi-frequently press his ultimate at level 16. Combine this with the amount of AP he will generate means that he will chunk squishies for half their hp on cooldown with no real way to regenerate either hp outside of base regen or potential life steal and spell vamp.

Teamfight based Mages are also solid on this ARAM Tier List. Veigar has the potential to scale indefinitely, with him having a great single target burst and pick setup with his cage on a thin lane. Kennen is another amazing team fight mage, with the Summoner Spell, Snowball allowing him to easily land on multiple targets with his ultimate to create team fights.

The Botlaners 11.11

The best ADCS on this list are Jhin, Kai’sa, Miss Fortune, Senna, and Tristana. Kai’sa is one of the best champions in the game right now anyway, and her strength on ARAM is still there. The added benefit for ARAM is she can go a full AP build if the team lacks ap, and do huge chunks of damage every few seconds if she lands a W – basically a better Nidalee. On the other hand, Jhin scales incredibly well with attack damage and can chunk down everyone with his fourth shot. Both Tristana and Miss Fortune are best team fighters, with quick movements speed, powerful team fight based ultimates. Finally, Senna has the potential to scale infinitely by collecting souls. It is not unusual to see Senna start auto-attacking towers from outside their range in longer game ARAMs.

Lulu, Seraphine, and Yuumi are the S Tier Enchanters due to the strength of their utility for team fighting. Lulu’s ult is great for those insane team fights that you have no chance of escaping from. On the other hand, Yuumi’s and Serpahine’ ult are kind of like Mao’kai’s and Ornn’s with some huge CC the lane’s size. Plus, the added sustain even through the healing reduction built into ARAM is still rather strong.

The oddball on the list is Pyke. Pyke is one of the best ARAM Champions in the game. His ability to great picks with his ultimate and the lethality Pyke build causes lots of damage on squishies. Following this up with his ultimate resets on kill, it becomes too easy for an ARAM Pyke to get a Penta Kill.

C and D Tier

You may ask why we are jumping from the S Tier to the C and D Tier? Well, that is largely due to the A and B Tier being relatively decent. Some Champions have a few weaknesses they can over, come,  like Kayle and Kog’Maw. There are fine Champions that help round out comps in the ARAM Tier List B Tier, like Kled. Going into detail in these sections is not entirely needed considering the number of champions and situations they are helpful.

However, the C Tier and D Tier need some explaining to understand how bad they are D Tier Champions because their kit is straight-up bad, or their role in the game doesn’t work in ARAM. As you can see, the typical fighting split pushers that rely on being up close and personal fail here. Jax and Tryndamere will straight up lose and feed due to getting poked out early. Even then, the champions are split pushers, and you, by default, cant split in ARAM. Yorick is a bit more salvageable because he has some ok CC, but it’s still nothing to shout about.

Consequently, Talon and Kayne are low on the list because of the interactions with the map. Talon has an ability that allows him to jump over walls, which is made irrelevant in ARAM. Kayne’s wall interactions are a little better, but he falls in the same spot as a jungle melee that needs to hit people to get his passive built. Unfortunately, he can’t really get a form without running it down in the early game.

In most cases, the rest of the C and D Tier Champions are either Junglers, with no real way to gank, or Top Laners with terrible gap closing on ARAM. Most of these are a little better in Season 11, with Mythics like Stridebreaker and Snowball combining to give them some extra room to be playable. However, they still pale in comparison to everything else.


What is ARAM?

The aim of the ARAM game mode (All Random All Mid) is to take down the enemy nexus, just like in Summoner’s Rift. However, the twist is that there is only one lane, and the champions you get are completely random, with a reroll pool, and a maximum of two rerolls depending on your reroll generation.

Based on the champion you get, you have to make a decent team comp or pick the most fun and crazy playstyles. From there, it’s about messing around, having some fun, doing some crazy plays, and ultimately aiming to win the game in a light-hearted manner.

All of this is relevant as this feeds directly into the ARAM Tier List. The unique rules of ARAM help to generate gold faster, which means you can’t buy or heal up from the Spawn Fountain unless you have died and respawned. Furthermore, Riot creates ARAM specific buffs and nerfs for almost every champion, with changes coming in every patch. For this reason, this LoL tier list is going to look a little different from our other LoL Tier List.

In evolutionary psychology, researchers frequently use comparative research methods, such as cross-cultural studies and studies of non-human animals, to test whether a particular trait or behavior is shared across different species and cultures or is unique to humans.

Furthermore, evolutionary psychology researchers frequently employ evolutionary models and mathematical simulations to assess the plausibility of their ideas and forecast how specific characteristics or behaviors may have developed.

Brief Issues in Evolutionary Psychology Researches

While evolutionary psychology has influenced our understanding of human behavior and cognition, concerns and criticisms exist regarding its validity. Different researchers have discovered that the findings of evolutionary psychology investigations are frequently not duplicated in different nations, implying a lack of generalizability. Physical appearance was a more relevant component in mate selection in some countries than others. This implies that the study’s findings may not apply to all populations.

Environment Role

Renewal – Map Improvement

Our intent for the map rework is to improve the infantry & close quarter combat experience. Flags and objectives are now significantly closer to each other. This will reduce the traversal time and overall ‘time to action’ when moving between sectors and objectives. To increase the impact of these changes, we decided to completely remove certain sections of the map that broke the game flow or were considered to be too far away. 

We’ve worked with both the terrain and with a large amount of new military fortifications to provide more opportunities for cover. These assets transform the map, making it feel less pristine and more ready for war. A feeling enhanced during gameplay as the new military fortifications support destruction to greater extent than the original map design.
