What You Could Expect From iPhone 12? iPhone 11 – What’s In It For Average Buyers? Recapitulating iPhone 11
Before delving right into iPhone 12, let’s have a quick recap of what you can expect from iPhone 11. Apple’s latest entrant sure offers more than its predecessors. Whether you take its water and shatter-resistant design or the capability to provide reverse wireless charging, there is so much that iPhone 11 promises.
Beneath the hood of iPhone 11, lies an immensely powerful processor backed by A13 bionic chip. But apart from that iPhone 11 shall have the same design – same notch, same body, same sensors, and same glass.Though on the camera front, there are things to entice new buyers. Say, for instance, three rear cameras, where the third camera will come with an ultra-wide lens (although these specs are reported to appear in the higher-end versions of iPhone 11).The year 2023 – When iPhone Will Shine Even Brighter With Better Specs 5G Is On Its Way
5G as of now is at its nascent stage and only a few cities worldwide have this next-generation connectivity. By the time 5G components will have hit iPhone 12, it’ll have widespread coverage, in fact, better than many Android’s premium phones.Screen Technology, Size, and Notch
Talking about the design of iPhone 12, it’ll for sure be a complete revamp. Now, there are several speculations and forecasts and out of these ones is that there would be three iPhone models of sizes 5.4 inches, 6.1 inches, and 6.7 inches. There are even speculations that Apple might just forego the notch this time. Although, it might be difficult to say if Apple would let go of the notch in 2023 or 2023.Time-Of-Flight Sensor and Touch ID
The iPhone 2023 is reported to have a time-of-flight (ToF) sensor which will be able to judge distances even better. For an avid photographer, this will be a boon as with a ToF one could perform some magnificent depth-of-field tricks and even capture better bokeh blur effects especially on portrait shots.
Also, the ToF sensor shall be able to capture depths in large areas. This would further enhance the augmented reality capabilities of the phone as well. With iPhone 12, AR apps will perform even better.
With iPhone 12, Apple might bring the Touch ID back and in fact, it is reported to have a design that will have Touch ID on the entire display. How cool is that?To Sum Up:
While iPhone 11 is still under wraps and users are excited for the new model to launch, iPhone 12 speculations have started circling. With these rumored specifications and new additions, iPhone 12 might supersede it.Quick Reaction:
About the author
You're reading What You Could Expect From Iphone 12?
It’s that time again, folks! The year 2013 has come to an end, and 2014 is upon us. This year is perhaps going to be one of the most optimistic ones, with several of 2013’s early-stage innovations coming to fruition and being used in a wider sphere. As we look back at all the innovation we’ve experienced, I’m happy to say that we’ve had a tremendous year. It is now time to look forward and see what kinds of new gadgets and gizmos we’ll see in our near future.1: 64-bit Smartphones!
It’s one thing to have to contend with a small amount of space, fitting hardware into ever-shrinking frames. As phones’ bodies became larger to accommodate 5-inch (and even 6-inch) screens, manufacturers were pressured to come up with ways of making these behemoths lighter and thinner. This pressure is further exacerbated by the ever-increasing need to include more processing power to compete in the market. It seems very likely that we’ll see a proliferation of 64-bit processing in the smartphones coming out in 2014. Companies that rigidly stick to the 32-bit processing model won’t fall behind this year as quickly as some might think. It will still take some time for app developers to create the applications that will make use of the extra bit width in the CPU.
I see this as a major step forward for two reasons:
Phones with 64-bit processors must include 4 GB or more of RAM to work properly, so we’ll certainly see a significant increase in the speed at which even 32-bit apps run. Samsung seems to already be preparing for this move.2: The Rise Of The Smart Watch
I’ve written an article earlier (this one) in which I was critical of smart watches. I may have been a bit harsh and have given the wrong impression. For this reason I’m thankful that a few days later a colleague of mine at MTE, Bertel King, Jr., wrote an eloquent piece describing what reasons you have for adapting to the trend now. In essence, I still believe that the technology is a bit young, but I also have reasons to believe that it will flourish this year.
And speaking of wearable technology…3: Intel’s “Quark” x86 Processor
Intel has been a bit quiet in the wake of the mobile era, which is something surprising for such a competitive firm. I was quite happy to see news about a new processor from Intel, designated the “Quark,” which will be available for wearable technology. It will compete directly with ARM’s Cortex-M line, and my money’s on it surprising us with the amount of features it will bring with it. I’m just wondering why Intel took so long to wake up and smell the roses on this market.4: The Rise Of Personal And Commercial Drones
Perhaps even more exciting than all the things we just discussed is the fact that drones are starting to become popular among hobbyists and companies alike. Although Amazon’s drone program isn’t going to materialize this year, I see a trend developing within the hobbyist community. Commercial drones will definitely be a reality, and we’ll be seeing more of them. Whether or not they’ll be delivering your goods is open to speculation, though. I highly doubt that any drone delivery program will actually be implemented with success this year, but I do think that some ambitious firms out there are already making plans for it.Do You Feel A Trend For 2014?

Both the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro have a glass rear with three cameras at the top left in a square module. However, the iPhone 12 Pro has a flat frame, unlike the curved ones on the former- both are made of Surgical-grade stainless steel material.
The front of the iPhone 12 Pro is protected by Ceramic shield glass, which is Apple’s equivalent to the Gorilla Glass Victus used on Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. It’s also marginally taller, wider yet thinner than the older model while weighing almost the same.
iPhone 11 Pro is available in Midnight Green, Silver, Space Gray, and Gold colors. Whereas the iPhone 12 Pro is being offered in Pacific Blue, Gold, Graphite, and Silver finishes.
iPhone 11 Pro: 144 x 71.4 x 8.1mm, 188g
iPhone 12 Pro: 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.4mm, 189gDisplay: iPhone 12 Pro has a Larger Panel
The iPhone 11 Pro has a 5.8-inch Super Retina XDR display with a 2436 x 1125 pixel resolution at 458 PPI. Whereas the iPhone 12 Pro has a slightly larger 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display with 2532 x 1170 pixel resolution at 460 PPI.
Apart from having a larger display, the iPhone 12 Pro also has thinner bezels all around. This is how Apple managed to fit a larger panel on a similar-sized chassis.Performance: A13 Bionic vs A14 Bionic
The iPhone 11 Pro is powered by the A13 Bionic chip built on a 7nm process. It gets a third-gen 8-core neural engine. In comparison, the iPhone 12 Pro comes with the new 5nm-based A14 Bionic chip with a next-generation 16-core neural engine.Cameras
Both the models have 12MP Ultra Wide, Wide, and Telephoto cameras at the rear and a 12MP TrueDepth camera upfront. The iPhone 11 Pro’s main sensor has an f/1.8 aperture, followed by f/2.4 for the ultra-wide shooter and f/2.0 for the telephoto lens. In comparison, the iPhone 12 Pro’s main 12MP sensor has a wider f/1.6 aperture.
Features like night mode, front portrait, portrait lighting, deep fusion, OIS, and more are present on both phones. Plus, you get a total optical zoom range of 4x between the ultrawide and telephoto cameras.
The two iPhones can record 4K videos at 60fps from both front and rear cameras. However, the new Pro can record HDR videos with Dolby Vision from the front (up to 30fps) and rear cameras (up to 60fps).Battery & Charging
The iPhone 11 Pro is said to offer up to 18 hours of video playback on a full charge. In comparison, the iPhone 12 Pro falls short by an hour at 17 hours. So, the battery life is slightly better on the older iPhone 11 Pro.
The duo also supports 7.5W Qi wireless charging. However, the iPhone 12 Pro additionally supports MagSafe, which aids faster 15W charging and a slew of new accessories. It also features magnets to align your phone and the charger properly.Connectivity: 4G vs 5G Price
The iPhone 11 Pro is discontinued but can be bought from various channels till the stocks last. In the Big Billion Days sale, Flipkart is offering it for a discounted price of Rs. 79,999, Rs. 92,999, and Rs. 1,09,999 for 64GB, 256GB and 512GB variants, respectively.
In comparison, the iPhone 12 Pro starts at Rs. 1,19,900 for 128GB version. Furthermore, it costs Rs. 1,29,900 for 256GB model and Rs. 1,49,900 for the top-end 512GB variant. The device will go on sale in India starting October 30.Wrapping Up
As evident, the new iPhone 12 Pro easily beats the last year’s model with the new A14 Bionic chip, 5G connectivity, and MagSafe charging. It also gets well-improved cameras; plus, features like Night Mode and Deep Fusion now work with the front camera, too.

Effective location-based SEO (local SEO) can have a substantial impact on your digital marketing success comparable to any other core marketing.
For a business that has a physical location, or many company premises to optimize for, the value of dominating your local online space cannot be overstated.
The same can be said for companies functioning and servicing within specific geographic areas that are core for company revenue and related success parameters.
There are many misconceptions about local SEO; for example, local SEO is only for small businesses, or that local SEO restricts total visibility online.
It’s important that, when looking to outsource your local SEO, you ensure your expectations of an agency and the deliverables you receive match your local SEO aspirations.
I hope this column will help.SEO Agency Fundamentals
Whether it is local SEO deliverables or enterprise-level SEO services, any established and effective search marketing agency will provide the fundamentals expected as specialists in their field.
Typically, this would include:
A clear set of objectives unique to your immediate, medium, and longer-term requirements.
An action plan that reinforces what the priorities are and when key milestones will occur.
Access to data and the building of a larger data ecosystem for insights and action-taking.
Agreed and consistent ways to communicate, report on progress, and reinforce what is being delivered for your investment.
Iterative improvement from the ongoing application of expertise and evidence-led decision-making.
Direct access to key staff working with you to achieve your local SEO goals.
Simplified and relevant ongoing support and feedback to enable agility and pivoting of approach to maximize new opportunity and react to changing threats.
Proactive and effective customer care enabling collaborative working, or full outsourcing dependent upon client requirements.
There will be other priorities that may be unique to business circumstances and areas of increased perceived value to your current requirements, and these can be added to the above agency fundamental expectations where applicable.
As a tip, one thing to avoid in your expectations is a small set of very specific and localized SEO keywords to focus on.
These will be the five or ten you may look at on your mobile phone every week and curse the competitor who ranks there.
Whilst you may have some keywords more commercially important than others, please do not restrict your focus (and that of any agency you decide to work with) to solely focus on a handful of terms.
Consider the end goal of these terms and what you wish to achieve through local SEO success.
There may be thousands of relevant and highly effective search queries, plus many new and unique ones being discovered every day in your data.
You don’t want to lose sight of these and their potential value by having a blinkered focus on just a few.
If it’s easier to move away from standalone keyword goals, consider the topic rather than the term. This can be far more useful to measure local SEO gains.Strong Technical Performance
Regardless of your local SEO goals and objectives, every local SEO campaign should factor in the website’s health, user experience, and overall technical ability to perform.
Traditionally within local SEO, this would focus on topics such as:
Broken links and content.
Duplicate, missing, and non-optimized metadata.
Slow load times.
Crawling and indexation of core content.
Thin content pages, redirects, and soft 404s.
Add to the above a practical emphasis on:
User experience including Core Web Vitals.
You may want to factor in broader items historically associated more with bigger entities and brands, as well.
This could include providing easy access to information through the site architecture, and digital simplification to enable the user to get to their endpoint as easily and effectively as possible (including broader conversation rate optimization principles).Evidence-Driven Content
It is not enough to provide expert industry opinion and localized content on a website with the expectation to dominate local SEO.
Any competitive local SEO campaigns should ideally be fueled with data (evidence backed) content at levels of quality and volume much higher than you may expect for local-orientated SEO campaigns.
The creation of content may be delivered by you in-house or outsourced to a marketing agency. But regardless of the approach to output, the dovetailing of data, local SEO experts, and leveraging of your unique industry insights is paramount.
From an agency, you should expect them to lead the local SEO content strategy and approach, providing ongoing recommendations using all available and relevant data sets to justify the; priority, focus, purpose, and ongoing impact of content being generated.
You would expect content to be created to leverage the value and metric success of existing content you have on your website.
You would also expect a consistent focus on new opportunities to ideate and implement new content reflecting the new data sets, and changing needs of your core business audience.
As with any comprehensive content strategy led by SEO, you would want to cover a range of user intent, focus on the actual value provided, and look throughout the spectrum of the information seeking and buying cycle.
Whilst this would be skewed towards local SEO, that does not restrict the impact.
Pertinent topic areas important to the business will likely have wider appeal and opportunity to grow site trust, backlinks, and perceived relevancy beyond the local demographic.Local Authority And Trust Building
Local authority building is a mainstay within local SEO and a necessity for gaining ground within your online niche.
Local brand building with PR and local media publications.
Business entity and relevant local and regional directory sites.
Links and mentions of the brand, company, and key staff in community and business forums.
Supporting local events, and sharing of expertise (and often resource, charity support, etc.).
Content promotion and placement (both local content and topical business products/services content).
Outside of the citation and link aspect of authority building is the deeper expertise, authority, and wider trust signal gains.
This includes in no small part the management, optimization, and ongoing growth of reviews and engagement through Google Business Profiles (for every business location), formerly Google My Business.
This includes (but is not limited to) search and maps optimization, profile completeness, promotion of content, and answering questions from your audience.
The more proactive you are with generating positive reviews as part of your combined business and agency focus (including targeted location-specific reviews), the faster you will see gains in your perceived online authority and local SEO results.
This needs to be through Google Business Profiles, Bing Places, and other established and trusted third-party review sites.Content And Social Media
You need to look at how you and your agency can enable your website and brand to become truly embedded within the local community.
For some sites and brands, this may be many local communities, spanning a number of geographically dispersed regions, whilst for others, it may be a single location and a number of miles surrounding it.
Either way, the ability to enhance your website community focus through audience-aware content hubs, free community resources, and tools, and ideally local user-generated content, the better.
This will naturally tie into social media interaction, engagement, and promotion, as well as social listening and audience building, by a genuine understanding of their wants, needs, plus pain points.
And more importantly how your people/experts/staff, brand, and products/services can positively impact them.In Summary
Businesses will have an array of bespoke requirements for their local SEO and the deliverables expected from an agency.
Some of these will be based on filters applied tied to previous experiences, and often lessons learned.
There are, however, a number of key standard expectations which you should always consider, as outlined above.

Even though protection remains a key aspect of my choice of accessories, I have always loved using a variety of skins on my iPhone. While wraps can’t deliver much in terms of the safeguard against random bumps like the impact-resistant wooden covers, protective bumper cases, or the top-grade folio leather suits, they offer way more customization options. Having the luxury to choose from a variety of textures such as carbon fiber, marble, wood, and more to design your own skin is something that never fails to hold my breath. If you are in the same ballpark, I bet you would like my collection of the 10 best skins and wraps for iPhone 12 mini.Best iPhone 12 mini Skins and Wraps to Buy in 2023
